Very tasty food. My husband got his medium (heat) and I got mine mild and both were done to perfection. The spices are not overpowering. Lots of options for both vegetarian and meat eaters. Service was prompt and he kept our water glasses refilled.
The manager(?) was very helpful. He showed me around the buffet and was patient and attentive.
The food is great. Excellent service. Very nice owners. Love the chicken korma. Tried dosas for first time. Interesting thin crispy pancake (very large) with small amount of vegetarian filling and cup of soup. A chickpea and cilantro cold side dish was delicious also. onion kulcha was perfect accompaniment. One of our favorite restaurants. Their buffet is excellent when we don’t have craving for korma. About 6 entrees along with sides, salad, desserts, hot tea.$11.99 weekend evenings.

I tried the mango yogurt drink, which I liked. The cook will prepare your food according to your preference. You have your choice of mild, spicy or medium. Everything was prepared perfectly. The bread was warm, the rice was fluffy and my food was flavorful.
The food was great, as usual. Unfortunately, when they realized we had a "coupon" the staff was very rude and seemed rather irritated and inconvenienced. It kind of put a damper on the meal.

When our son arrived to pick up the food, he was not greeted at all. He walked all the way in before anyone spoke to him, and that wasn't the staff person but a man who seemed to be a family member of the woman who got out of the booth and went to get the food we'd ordered after our son explained. She did this without a greeting, smile one anything. We used to go to this restaurant years ago with a previous owner and are very disappointed. We have another coupon to use, but that will be the last time. People go where they feel welcome. There is a reason the restaurant was empty, and I don't want to be mean spirited, but you will attract people with genuine warmth. No love-no people.
The people there are so friendly, efficient, great food, nice atmosphere.

Your restaurant if very cold because there is no wind block for your front door.

The food was great! They always came by to check on everything, and even made a special dish for my friend. I'd say that goes above and beyond most restaurants.
Our family enjoyed the amazing buffet. There were so many dishes to try, as well as chai tea and dessert on the buffet. Naan comes in a basket to your table with as many refills as you want. YUM!!!
All the chicken dishes on the buffet had chicken that was hard and dry - very NOT tastie.

We already love dining at Taste of India and the restaurant.com coupons are another good reason for us to enjoy eating there. We can spend a little more on our meal or visit a little more often than we might otherwise. We also plan to bring friends with us next time we dine there, which hopefully will bring new regular customers to Taste of India.

Pakora not quite up to par but everything else was excellent. Great Tikka Masala, Na'an and Saag Paneer.
We were the only ones in the restaurant and they pretty much ignored us, which was OK since we got the buffet, but I don't think they were too happy we had a restaurant.com certificate.
The food was fantastic and the was a great selection on the menu! We will definitely go again soon!

18% tip seemed high. Bill still came to $30 after the $25 gift certificate. Seemed high for a party of three. Would rather have smaller portion and pay less
not a wide variety of food in the bar that I've experienced at other Indian resturants. it was all good.
This was a very pleasant experience and relaxing and we were very happy with our visit. After eating at a Taste of India we visited with friends and they said they had also eating there and enjoyed it very much. Thank You.

Would like a bit more help with the menu. For most, Indian food is new and a more thorough explanation of how the meal is served would be helpful to those that want to try something new. Otherwise excellent service and setup.
We love Indian food,and Taste of India is one of only two Indian restaurants in Ft. Wayne, so we eat here occasionally. However, we like the food much better at Indian restaurants in other cities such as Indianapolis. Taste of India isn't bad, but we would go more often if we liked it as well as our favorites in other cities.
I liked the food; however, I wish that there would have been more descriptions about what the food actually was. I did not know what I was getting until it got to the table.

Great restaurant and great service. We dine here almost once a week but this was the first time for using the coupon. If this was to get a star rating it would be 5 stars out of 5. Wonderful!!
I was a little confused. The coupon says to make sure to tip your server pursuant to the entire amount of the meal, but an 18% gratuity was automatically added to the bill.
On Friday and Saturday night they offer a buffet meal with delicious food that offers an opportunity to sample many of their offerings. Fabulous!!
