This is the only restaurant ive been to where they tell me i cant do takeout. Theyd rather lose the money than let me use my restaurant code on takeout.

The place was packed so they set us at the bar and we had an appetizer while we waited for a table. The staff was courteous and accommodating.

Service was excellent. This was our first experience with Puerto Rican food, and it was fine, but would require developing an appreciation for it. The restaurant was comfortably full with what appeared to be regulars, so it is probably regarded highly by those who seek out this genre. Glad we tried it!
We LOVED Brasa Latina, but wished the place was bigger, and that it had Latin music.
Great service. Nice atmosphere. Ropa vieja was not how I’ve had it before but still good. The appetizer we had was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try more.
This visit the next door plumbing was being worked on and the dirt smells were coming into the restaurant.

This was my third trip and I must say I was highly disappointed (yet again). (To understand fully you need to read this review to the end). The first time I visited I ordered a pork lover's plate but was informed they were out of that particular pork chop so I substituted a smaller one. Well, when the meal came the pork chop was quite big, juicy, and really good. Being impressed I returned on a second occasion and ordered the same plate they had substituted before. Well, strangely however, the pork chop I received this time was DRASTICALLY smaller and not even prepared in the same manner. Disappointed, I spoke with my server and it was reasoned that the cook must have swapped out pork chops on my first visit and gave me the big one on the smaller platter. (Odd for sure since the reason I had ordered the smaller plate was because I was told they were OUT of the big chop!) Anyhow, I chalked it all up to experience and moved on. Now, on my third visit I made a point of ordering the Pork Lover's platter. Strangely however this time I received yet a different pork chop! This chop seemed like an entirely different cut of meat than either of the first two. (and was even seasoned and prepared differently). This makes three separate trips to this restaurant with an entirely different style pork chop for each one. On top of that, this time the meat was dry and overcooked. For the record, the service was quite good and I do like the place's "feel" overall but I cannot excuse the idea of not knowing what I will actually receive when I order so, as a result, I will likely not return. (Also, this is a bit of a sidenote: Although I had a printed copy of my Restaurant.com coupon, my server asked me to provide a copy digitally (on my phone). I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that was, but for me, it felt as if they thought I was trying to be dishonest).

It was the noisiest restaurant I have ever dined in. With people talking at an extremely high level, blender going off several times and sounding like a freight train, plates and silverware being dropped to floor with a crash. On the plus side,k the food was extremely well prepared and delicious. The chef is a real professional and deserves commendation.

We loved everything. The pork chop was especially good. The only thing we didn't like was the fact we felt it was too noisy/echo-ey in the place.. there were only a few other diners inside but it was just hard to hear each other over the random noise.
the waitress friendly, atmosphere comfortable, food gr8..each item had its own flavor and afterward no heartburn or bad aftertaste..

The menu had classic Latin food, but also offered selections other than the standard Spanish foods that are available. The Crab Avocado Empanadas were wonderful. Our waitress, Ashley was very friendly and informative with explananations of various items on the Menu.

The ropa vieja was excellent. The mofongo was very tasty; I am not familiar with this dish, so I do not know how it compares to the mofongo served elsewhere. The paella valenciana was very good, as was the caesar salad, which was large enough for two persons. The atmosphere is pleasant, but not romantic or fancy. Prices were fair, considering the quality and quantity of the food as well as the great service. Highly recommended.
