We always enjoy Cafe 33. Today I had a house cut steak and it was delicious.
Our salad was served promptly but we waited 25 minutes for our meal, I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes as one of my side dishes and they were not only not hot, they weren’t even warm. The hush puppies that came with my fish were far from being burned!
Food excellent, service very good.
Same great food & service but prices were higher. I’m sure as a result of Covid 19. We’ll still be eating there though.
The only problem we had was misunderstanding that we had called ahead for a table as opposed to calling in our order. Once that confusion was settled, service was prompt and good! Food was actually better than the last couple of visits.
Food flavor was great. Coconut shrimp on special was awesome. Only downside was vegetables on two plates were cold as was an order of mashed potatoes. But, our awesome server corrected it immediately and gave us 10% off without question. Overall, a good experience.
We thought the food was great and our wait staff was pleasant.

Food was good, service was good, one unusual habit we’ve noticed twice, and only at this restaurant was that when the waitress picked up our money for the bill she said “thank you, have a good day and kept all the change for the tip! We find this to be a strange practice and would prefer to leave our own tip, not have the waitress decide (without our permission) what her tip would be!

Fast and very friendly service. This restaurant is small and fairly quiet which makes for a peaceful atmosphere. Food is delicious. I especially like the baked sweet potato. My son and husband love the Mac and cheese.

Great atmosphere, music, decor, customer service, variety of menu choices for food and drinks. including some healthy options. Food was fabulous.

Food is pretty good, service is good, we've been there several times because it is close to where we live and frankly there aren't too many restaurants to choose from in our small town. The interesting thing is that it seems like they always leave something out...today it was the Texas toast that was to accompany my husbands steak dinner.
Service very poor waiter only checked on us two times even though they weren’t very busy. Was to busy watching the bowl game on television to wait on his tables.

Great Salad Bar. The best ever Fried Catfish. Lovely young lady served us with a nice personality and great enthusiasm. Nice place for lunch!
For the last three times we have been there, the soup has been medium warm (or out), the salad bar has been out of some items, and the staff had to wait on coffee cups to serve us. That makes it so awkward for such a GREAT WAIT STAFF
The steak was very tasty and the chicken fried steak was one of the best I have ever had. The service is always good

The food is always good. The service is on again, off again. This time the restaurant was full of smoke (from the grill)so that took away from the experience. If they can ever get it totally together with the service and avoid filling the place with smoke, then I will happily give them 4 stars. Actually, I'd love to give them 5 stars, we really like the place.
My husband and I ordered the surf and turf. I ordered shrimp, he ordered the salmon. We both got shrimp.
Fantastic steak. We have tried several different meals and loved them all but I keep coming back to the petite tenderloin. Have also tried the breakfast and it was great!
We had a great waitress that was good with the kids :) The food was phenomenal!
The waitress was so nice, it was a busy time for the restaurant and our wait was a little longer than it should have been but the waitress was attentive and caring even though she was very busy

Our waitress was rolling silverware and was not informed by hostess that we had been seated. She did not notice us & we were ignored by all other staff. My mother finally requested service and the other waitress said she was not ours but after a pause said she help us, but was clearly put out. Finally we got a server who was unsure if her herself and had clearly not been trained in customer service or the art serving. She seemed terrified. I immediately informed her of our gift certificate and she said she would have to ask how yo do it as she had not seen one before. The food was wonderful. She brought the check without following up one the gift certificate and I had to ask again and wait while they figured out how to apply it to the bill.
The waitress was slow and didn't return to table much.
The food was good. The atmosphere was relaxing. The service was disappointing.
