One of the great newer pizzerias on the New York scene. Top notch ingredients combined in interesting ways. Pizza dough that has the right "bite"and cooked perfectly with that little bit of char. Truly Italian context and approach, these guys know what they're doing.

Dining at Numero 28 on Second Avenue has always been like eating at home, among friends. All the staff contributes to giving diners the best experience possible. This is a proper taqueria so if you want fried Americanized Mexican food then this isn't for you, but if you want natural, authentic Mexican food then this is your place. We had fajitas and 3 different kinds of tacos and all were really good. The salsa bar was fantastic and the corn tortillas were just right. Spanish isn't a must but is helpful.
