Good service. They were understandably busy with some large parties that were already seated when we got there, but they still remembered us and came by to refill our chips while we waited for our food.
Food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is fun!

Estrellita's has tasty and authentic Mexican food. It is not a taco and burrito fast food place. There are several dishes I've never seen served in any other Mexican restaurants in the area.
We've been coming here for 30 years. The dishes are great, mole is authentic and tasty, and they specials are different and not your run-of-the-mill selection. Try this place.

The food was excellent. Service was also very good, especially with only one person in the front acting as greeter, waiter, busboy, and cashier.

The Plates were nicely arranged and Tasted Excellent! There was nice,soft Music playing with 2 TV's at the Bar showing the Basketball Championship and Baseball. Very Enjoyable!

We choose external seating. Ample seating with mexican music playing in the background was amazing. Ordered Chicken Oxacxca (or what ever) Taco salad, Shredded beef Quasedilla for my son and steak for me. Food was excellent. Chips were too good. Service was amazing.
This is my first visit in about 10 years. I have liked the food here before and did this time too. What draws me here is the range of Latin-American cuisine offered and they have more on their menu now on any given day than they have had in the past.
Absolutely marvelous service by two lovely, polite, and cheerful young women. Please tell them that we really appreciated them being so welcoming. And the food is always great there.
India Oven has the best Chai and overall Indian food in Denver.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Close to our neighborhood so is convenient and food is good. Service always friendly. Warm and charming interior.

Food was pretty bland in general; tamale was oversalted. I went there at happy hour and the hostess explained the discounts to me (appetizers $2 off; draft beers $2 off) but when my check came, I didn't get the happy hour discount on the appetizer I ordered. They bring a bottle of tapwater to the table, which I appreciated, but it had kind of a strong smell to it. Not sure if it was from the water or whatever they use to clean the bottle. I did like the red sauce that came with the chips, though.

Food was good. The fajita steak was juicy and tender. I like the tortilla crepe which was thin and soft, and was served piping hot. The service was a bit slow.
Service was very SLOW, getting the menus, getting chips and salsa, placing our order, ordering dessert, receiving dessert - all the whip cream had melted into the no longer crispy fried ice-cream.
Have not been there for ±1year. Menu has changed. Central America & specific Mexico states items gone. Menu is now an almost typical Mexican restaurant listing. That would be ok if food was done well. But...food is now mediocre, tired, typical Mexican restaurant food. Quite bland.
The food is always special here. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that they prepare most things with grilled veggies, even off the menu, and it tastes like it was something they made up for the menu. The service is friendly.
Nice staff, good food
Atmosphere reflects Mexican cuisine. We had 3 in our party - 2 excellent dinners and 1good dinner. Salsas are among best you can find. Mole sauces are a must try.

The best home made true Mexican [Not Texan] cuisine around - molés, adobo's, oaxacan food, etc. Long time family run place, quiet, friendly low-key. I almost always get the specials - they are terrific.
Food was tasty and appropriately flavored for cuisine of southern Mexico. Diners would benefit from a carafe of water on the table. With spicy food, one needs beverage at hand, and waitstaff were running back and forth frequently to keep glasses filled.
I have an eating problem that is hard to find things to eat. I had the chicken taco with nothing on it. It was very good for me. The rest of the family had other dishes that they thought were too spicy. It might help to have mild to spicy choices in salsa to dishes to let people choose how hot they want their meal.

I like Estrellita's specials and veggie options. To my mind, they're a step ahead of the Mexican restaurant chains and it's nice to support a locally owned business.
We love this place - and especially the Mole! It is amazingly delicious! The service is always very good and the atmosphere is really comfy and cute!
The appearance of the restaruant doesn't look so impressive. But inside of the restaurant was very nicely decorated, clean and enjoyable. The food was good and waitress was very tentative.

Fabulous food!
The gourmet burritos and mole poblano are excellent choices on the menu. Their patron margaritas are our favorite.
Best things on the menu: Mole Poblano, Gourmet burrito. Also, the monthly specials can be excellent - a nice surprise!
