The service was wonderful.. everyone was friendly.. And the food was extraordinary.. the Salvadoran Soup, papusas, chicken Tamale and Carne Asada Taco were all great but best overall.. favorite dish Shrimp Cocktail!!!
Food was very good! Unusual for us, didn’t know what to expect but enjoyed it very much. The people working there were very nice came by and talked to us. The momma who was cooking even came to our table to check on us. Very very personal

Enjoy going with daughter and grandchildren close to their home. We are all able to engage in conversation without anyone having to jump,up and down to serve us. Always a special time.
The food is fresh & awesome. Probably the best Italian in the area. The owner's wife is Portuguese so many of the selections are "Mediterranean" rather than pure Italian. A great melding of gastronomic cultures!
After a delicious meal and wine, we paid our bill using our restaurant.com coupon, tipping our customary 20+%. It wasn’t until we got home that we realized that Tambascio’s already included a 20% gratuity because we used a coupon and we were not notified in advance. Bottom line our waitress received a $40+ tip at our expense and we were left with a bitter taste in our mouths.
We each ordered something different, and each dish was excellent. I had the seafood Possolipo (my favorite) which is so good that its beyond description. My husband had the herb crusted salmon which was cooked to perfection. Our friends ordered the chicken parm and the sole Calabrese, each of which was absolutely delicious.The apps were also great. The food here is hard to beat. And the service is super too.

The food was delicious & definitely freshly prepared. The large menu gave us lots of options + there is a weekly special list also. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food options. I would definitely return -soon.

Went with family, knew the food would be good and we would ha e a chance to talk. We were right, all had-good meal and time!
I would have rated it excellent except for the maitre d' arguing with me that I could not have a reservation at noon that day because there was no one there to answer the phone. I said it was a woman with a broken accent. He sid I probably got a wrong number. Then after I showed the number I called on my cell phone, he still insisyed there was no woman there. If, however it was one of the kitchen cooks that had a feminine voice he did not offer that as a possibility. He continued to say that there was no woman there and offered no possible explanation as to who I might have talked with. The implication was that I was mistaken and I was embarrassed because I was with new friends.

By far, one of our favorite restaurants. As always, the best Posolippo ever, and outstanding Parm. This time we tried the fish, which was cooked to perfection. Tambascios gives you the trifecta: Great drinks, great food. and great service. The bonus is that the prices are reasonable.
When in the Danbury area, worth a trip over to Tambascio's. Very good food and attentive service.

Very good food! Clams casino to die for! Eggplant parm is exceptional. Excellent service - superior staff, great menu, reasonable prices, charming decor! Clearly the owner cares about the dining experience, and it is reflected in the service by his staff.

We always get to-go orders and they are always so sweet and do their best. If there is any confusion or holdup, they're always quick to give you free drinks from the cold case.

Food is always fantastic however this time everything was a bit cooler than expected. We were rushing so we didn't have time to warm it up. It was the end of the evening and things like this happen. We made do.

Food, service and atmosphere are awesome and we always request the "Polish Lady" as our server. Everyone goes out of their way to see that everything is done even the right way even the "bus boys".

While the service was a little too laid back, the servers were friendly and the food is absolutely delicious.
