We each ordered the vegetarian sambusa and the vegetarian platter, with water to drink. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was fresh and delicious.
The service was very slow. The servers were not as attentive as they walked past you without checking the tables if anyone needed anything. They were mostly in the front of the restaurant talking.
Food and service were excellent.
Food was absolutely delicious! I had a lamb and veggie dish and my friend had a beef and veggie dish. Both were very tasty and came out hot (temperature wise, not spice wise). The music was just right at this restaurant - not loud like many other restaurants that my friend and I have been trying out at lunchtime. We both appreciated this at Langano, as too loud music is one of our pet peeves. The restaurant was clean and the server was very pleasant and suggested dishes to each of us based upon our likes.
Great vegan options
1. A possible theft occurred when costumer called about cellphone being lost. 2. Server completely ignored request as if we were never even heard after 3 times of asking nicely to attempt to receive attention . 3. Manager very un experienced. Employees had headphones in and on their cell phone frequently during experience
I've been to many Ethiopian Restaurants and this was my favorite. It's small but the food and staff are excellent!

The food was good. It took a while (at least 5 min) for the server to acknowledge that I was even there so that was not a good look. The place was not even crowded either only three tables active.
Loved Coffee ceremony I walked into and the friendliness of my server and not a frown upon the fact that I had a coupon. We were still good customers and treated well.
The Server was nice and courteous. We all loved the food.
Food was very good. They did not bring the correct bottle of wine. When the manager asked how everything was, I mentioned this and he brought samplers of the wine we had ordered because that was new to most of the group and that was why we ordered it in the first place. We arrived for a very late dinner, and our meal ran into their "club time" so we had to endure very loud music. The music was fine, but the singers were awful.
A little noisy and cramped but that is the atmosphere.
Service was extremely slow, delivry of meal over 30 minutes from ordering, and restaurant was not busy, only 4 out of 20 tables seated.

The vegetarian sampler and fried lamb were great. Friendly and responsive staff. Good location. Clean. Ana was our waitress and she suggested good items. Big portion sizes.
The food was good, but the services are so so. The waitress seemed like she doesn't care, and she did not explain anything to us. The greeting was terrible, and we had to wait for a very long time for the food to come.
I had seen Langanos for many years but had tried other Ethiopian restaurants nearby. Restaurants.com encouraged me to try them. Didnt use certificate the first time because ordering $35 worth of food is more than we usually spend. But, we enjoyed it so much that we have made it one of our regular stops.
We have dined in Ethiopian restaurants all over the country. There is better food out there. All the waitresses were extremely kind and all happened to be beautiful.
The service can be a little slow but the food is excellent!

We love Ethiopian food, and Langano is a very good Ethiopian restaurant. When we have friends who have never been to an Ethiopian restaurant, we will often go to a restaurant with more authentic seating and circular tables. Otherwise, Langano is among our top choices.
Very nice and genuine staff. A true cultural experience with food my 3 young blush ate with vigor.
excellent food, but I drank all my water before the meal, and it wasn't refilled until the check came.
The atmosphere was great. Our server was patient and welcoming.The food was delicious especially the fried fish.
i would much prefer that the tv's were off and ethiopian music was on.

They were out of a dish we ordered but went out of their way to provide an alternative. They brought 2 dishes for us to try and when we liked them equally split the order between both! They were incredibly accommodating.
There was a long delay between handing the server our voucher and her coming back to take our order. I don't think sufficient training re: restaurant.com vouchers has taken place.
Service was good but, slow. I think it was more of a cultural thing though. I will definitely return.
It was a pleasant meal on a hot night. I always feel like I'm in the right place when I'm surrounded in a restaurant by other diners of the ethnicity of the restaurant and that was certainly true at Langano! I first found Langano by driving by and noticing the place. I love Ethiopian food, so tried it. Was happy to try it again with a restaurant.com gift certificate.
we've been to Langano's before and enjoy the food. It was a bonus to use the certificate.
