The service was slow and the food took an 35 minutes to cook!
Considering the times we are in right now, our Mapleview Family Restaurant experiencewas just what we needed. We were in the ares looking for a place to eat and stopped there. We ordered from our car, picked up the food 10 minutes later and were able to sit at tables provided outside the diner. Food was great and we couldn't have asked for anything more!
The food was great and well seasoned. We were pleasantly surprised and look forward to visiting again!

It was very clean, food was hot and our waitress was wonderful.
Our food, baked potato and prime rib were not very warm and though I asked for my prime rib to be medium, it was mostly medium well and had little flavor. The onion rings were excellent!
Bobby Jo was a great waitress. We go often in the summer as we go and come from camp.We plan on a meal either going or coming. The food is always good and you get a nice portion. We love the carrot cake.
ONly complaint was that they were out of the special, but it was late.

My friend and my husband enjoyed their food. I had a BLT sandwich, which wasn't as good as their food. They had breakfast food.

We have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and want to please.A nice place to go to dinner

The only complaint I have is the drinks , all of our drinks were pretty gross they taste like bleach. Other than that everything was great.

Our last visit wasn't favorable. But Friday night much Improved was told a new general manager. I could tell in the food. Great salad bar with 2 homemade soups not salty. Everything fresh and appealing on salad bar.

We dine at this restaurant quite often. Some dining experiences are more pleasant than others. Our last experience was less than pleasurable. Waitress threw menus and silverware on a dirty table and walked away. Had to repeatedly ask for refills. She let the dishes pile up at the end of the table. Food had to be sent back as it was not cooked to order.
Great clam chowder soup on the salad bar. Delicious Capri Chicken dinner. Waitress warm and welcoming with a pleasant sense of humor.

Everyone had the soup and salad bar and one in our party also ordered a burger which was huge and came with hot, delicious fries. Two choices of soup: Cream of mushroom which was yummy, creamy and lots of mushrooms. Turkey vegetable which was chock full of turkey and veggies. Salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Our server was very attentive and efficient and even gave us good directions to our next stop!!
Usually we have a good meal there. This is the second recent time that dinner fell short of our expectations, sadder because my grown child who was back in town requested we go there. One of my sides never was served, and a baked potato was not done and was uncooked on the inside when it arrived almost 10 minutes later than the rest of the meal. Another in our party had a meal that he just described as "that did not taste very good".

Salad bar has a lot of choices and at $3.99 easy add it to our sandwich choice. Desserts are big, easy to share with another. Sandwiches were OK - not great but filling. Using the coupon helps.

I HAD A SUPER BLT, BACON WAS RAW AND SO GREASY, BREAD WAS NOT TOASTED (A REQUEST FOR TOAST) AND WAS DRIED OUT FALLING APART
salad bar without ranch dressing and some toppings, brought to server's attention and she let kitchen know but took about 15 minutes before replenished, teen age son grouchy and would not try different dressing, just finally starting on salad when entree arrived at table. Salad bar is an extra 3.99 with meal so this is inconvenient.

To the Mapleview staff: Just so that you are aware, we ate from the new barbecue menu. Ribs and Chicken both were very tough and dry. We could not finish eating the meat portion of our meals.
The food came out cold,it was supposed to be medium I bend my fork trying to cut it cut my husbands was the same and waitress also spilled some of his shrimp on the floor. Took the steaks back and said she would have them redone and also would bring more shrimp.About 10 minutes later brought more shrimp still mo steak. Then brought me hot vegetables still no steak. After I ate the vegetables and shrimp finally brought the steak?
Waitress was a joy! Attentive, personable, promoted a relaxed atmosphere.
The service is usually great but this waitress we had to ask for more drinks and it took forever to get our bill.

There werem two full rooms of customers and other than wairing maybe an extra 10 minutes or so, the waitress, even being so busy, did not forget us or what our refilled drinks needed to be. All the staff there really earn their money the old fashioned way.(By working hard and still being able to please the sustomer) Thank you.

burgers were over cooked, despite being ordered medium rare. I ordered raw onions and they cooked them anyway. Service was slow. My wife fried fish was good but the portion was very small. My son liked the Bacon sandwich, but it wasn't anything special. Diner food at best, but with little attention to quality or accuracy.
very good service, good meal. Spouse had one complaint and that was that piece of haddock served in the fish dinner was more of a sandwich size piece of fish, said he was glad he got salad bar or would have been hungry still.

Took a little while before waitress came back and asked what we wanted. Was more concerned with getting other tables refills on their drinks. Other dining room was not open, and the main room was crowded. I like to spread out when I eat, not eat on top of other people. Don't recall the waitress thanking us for coming in. Sometimes it all it takes to make someone happy is say a few kind words :-)

We had an excelent experience at Mapleview Family Diner last weekend. Our meal(pork roast dinner-all 4 of us)was delicious! We had very timely and friendly service and will definetly return!
