Definitely make a reservation in advance. Even off-season there are steady customers. Live music was lovely and the lounge area was comfortable. I don't think there's one drink the bartender can't make and the wine list hit all the right marks. Prices are high but expected for this level restaurant, the location near Ogunquit, and gorgeous gardens and interior. Valet is free but please tip. If you can, ask for Tim to be your server; more than exceptional. On our night we had the night's special soup, maple butternut squash, which we both Loved! Because I wanted to save room for dessert, I had the house salad for my entree which had plenty of cranberries and pistachios. My spouse had the night's surf and turf; the steak and scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted divine with the crisp fresh green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered a bottle of wine and was able to take home what I didn't drink (it's okay in Maine.) I had read reviews about the cheesecake and this day it was maple pecan; just decadent. My spouse had the bourbon vanilla creme brulee; the caramelized sugar was crisp and the custard was wonderfully silky. His espresso was top notch. Nothing was rushed, we were attended to but not smothered, and spacing between courses worked quite well. Stop reading and go now!
