One waitress so we waited over 10 minutes to order and then our food was slow to arrive at the table. The food was tasty as always.
Always great food and serve whether it is morning rush on Sundays or lunch on weekend or dinner hour, everything is great at the Stardust Diner.
I always love Stardust. Today they seemed a bit busy, but it is not hard to get a waiter. I have always liked their food and love the nostalgia. We have been coming since they opened, many years ago.
They are so nice and the service is great! I am still able to get my Monte Cristo sandwich even though it’s not on their menu anymore!
The service and food was excellent. They always make sure that you have plenty of coffee to drink and your water glass is always filled. Everyone is friendly too.

Sat at the back and it will be the last time. Our waitress forgot about us back there and had to make a trip upfront to get our check.
Stardust is a favorite place of ours. If we are in the area, this is the place we go. The staff is super, the food is great and we are served very quickly. Can't think of any problems we have ever had. 5 Star for us.

The for is wonderful and the wait staff and host & hostess a great which keeps us coming back 5 or more times a week. Sometimes twice a day. Prices haven't gone up since 2001.

The food is very tasty--love the chicken fried steak. Vegetables were not very warm.

I find very useful people who are employed by the Stardust are patient and highly respectful of each customer regardless of age. This establishment caters to a large group of 65+ years of age. It is refreshing to see politeness and respect in this young Group of people.

There is no place to sit in this restaurant that isn't directly below an air conditioning duct. Wear warm clothing if you want to enjoy your meal without freezing.
My entire family LOVES this place (and that is rare for a family of 6 with 4 kids). We start our summer vacation here and talk about what we want to do and end the summer here by recapping our favorite parts of summer. Food, service, atmosphere - all the best!

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is like down home cooking. We have never had a bad meal. The owners are awesome and working right along their wonderful staff. The prices are very good. We even brought pie home this time.

We dine at Stardust often and love this restaurant for a casual meal. However, on this visit the gravy and ranch dressing seemed to have been thinned down, which affected the flavor.

I truly enjoyed the roast beef w/mashed potatoes! The sides of corn was good and corn bread even better. Highly recommended! Try a shake as well, I had a hot fudge one. All food tasty, great/fair prices and excellent service. I'll be back soon and bring others with me to share the joy.

We were seated at too small of a table for the four of us, our menus and all of the syrups, jams, and table top advertisements. I thought tip was supposed to be added in to our total but it wasn't. Kids at the table next to us were very loud.

Within an hour, we were offered refills on our drinks at least every 5 min. by different servers. They were polite, but it was annoying.

Don't try their corned beef and cabbage, it was the worst I've ever had! The meat was dry and thin-sliced and the cabbage was tough,no juice whatsoever. Usually the food is great.

Nothing fancy, but a fun retro experience. I remember seeing this building going up in a day when it opened several years ago -- modular, like a mobile home. Lots of old ads, photos, and magazine covers on the walls. Funny thing: the ads are all from the 30s and 40s, but the retro music being played is 50s and 60s. So not quite the purist experience, but fun nonetheless. The food is so-so, typical diner fare. The service is always great.

We eat there quite often and are very satisfied with our overall experience each and every time
we ususally have pretty good food (breakfast), but today it was all around terrible with the exception of our 8 year olds pancakes. we had to 3 egg omlettes that were bacon and cheese. there is no way it was 3 eggs and WHERE'S THE CHEESE. the chicken fried steak was all breading and nothing more. Really disappointing today.

My only negative comment was that the liver on both orders was very over done.
we had a great female server..and a very nice make host who got us water and our drinks...what was annoying was a male server kept stopping by our table about 8 times so see if we were doing ok!he leaves comes back a few mins later and asks if our shakes are good, then comes back once a gain to ask if our food tastes good it went on and on. It started to get annoying as i was trying to have dinner with my kids. Im sure he and the other servers were just coming over to check out my daughter lol..but really?? Our server was great she was female and knew when to check on us and when not to..so we had 4 guys and one female server all at our table in 50 mins.a little bit too much customer service!

The place is bustling with people so it isn't really quiet but the atmosphere is fun.
Some of the best service I have ever received. They were very busy but you would think you were the only one there.

This place is good for what it is. It's a greasy spoon, neighborhood diner at best. The food is mediocre, but not bad. The service is average on a good day.My wife ordered a club sandwich with no tomato. When the food got to the table, her sandwich had tomatoes on it. I alerted the nearest waiter, who then called the manager over. My wife asked how long it would take to remake the sandwich, the manager said "it won't take that long". We'd already waited about a half hour for our food, and we were both hungry when we got to the restaurant.The sandwich returned shortly after she sent it back with no tomatoes. The staff had clearly just removed the tomatoes from the sandwich, as there was still tomato seeds and juices on the leaves of lettuce.I'd never pay full price to eat here again, but I will return to redeem my last remaining coupon (I bought 2 when they were $2ea).
Temperature needs to be consistent. Warm and then too cold when air came on.

It was really cold in the rest. we commented and nothing happened the next people that came in complained and they warmed it up. That was good. The meatloaf was really bad everything else was good

The milkshakes were not very tasty...I got a chocolate shake and my husband a strawberry. Neither were very flavorful. The burgers were good and the onion rings were excellent.

My husband and I enjoy eating at Stardust Diner. The staff is always friendly, service great, always clean restrauant and we like the music and the atmosphere. Tonight we took our two sons as it was the oldest ones birthday and they enjoyed it also.

We were immediately greeted upon arrival and promtly seated in the last booth available. Hostess took our drink order and prepared our milkshakes before handing off to the server who cheerfully greeted us and took an appitizer order. Throughout the meal, our server was quite attentive and never allowed us to wait for anything. Overall service was outstanding! Food arrived at the proper intervals (milkshake, appitizer, entree) and quality/portion size was excellent. If you're looking for traditional diner food, this is the place to go in Vancouver.

I bought and used 2 restaurant.com dining certificates and each time Stardust Diner overcharged me. Each time the bill didn't add up and I could not determine how they arrived at the total. I will not buy any dining certificates for Stardust Diner. Also, they messed up one of the orders and had to remake it. This is typical for this restaurant.

The entire staff were completely helpful and attentive from the minute we walked into the resturant. Our server took our drink order right away and my granddaughter was given crayons the second she sat down. Our meals were very tasty and exactly what you would expect at a diner. Great value. Would have given a 5 but when we came in the kid behind the counter asked us how many people, we told him 4 and a baby, he said "you'll have to wait". Even though there were empty tables we passed on our way in. The right behind us a couple walked in and the same guy looked at them and said"you'll have a wait" No greeting or asking how many in there party nothing, just you'll have to wait" I would have left if I were them. But besides the kid with no customer service experience, the food was great!

french toast came with bacon, it was burned surf and turf, nearly 1/3 of the steak was grissle, cooked medium rare as requested but arrived cold. Green beans were very over cooked and the baked potato was microwaved, not baked, so a good part of it was too hard to mash up and eat.

To claim the Stardust Diner is fantastic is simply an understatement. From the retro decor, to attentive, friendly and courteous wait staff and fresh food prepared how you want, a large vsriety menu, very reasonable prices, I just can't praise Stardust enough. Many supposed "up-scale" restaurants could learn a lot from the Stardust Diner.
A bit far from where we live but we had other places to go nearby so we decided to eat there.

Our server was excellent. However, we were asked if we wanted sausage or bacon as if it were included in the price listed. When we said no we did not receive it with our meal but the extra charge was still on our bill. It was not even listed as an add on but rather my bill was not adding up when I checked it. The server apologized and made the adjustment. An added product you are purchasing should always be listed on the bill.
From the look of a 1950's diner to the excellent staff to a widely varied menu, Stardust Diner is without equal. Food is hot and delicious, staff is very friendly and attentive and how can you beat the Life magazine covers from the 1940's lining the walls? Truly a pleasurable dining experience for all.

We were going to be visiting Vancouver and picked a Restaurant.com certificate for the Stardust because it looked interesting and like a place my kids would enjoy. They did not disappoint! The staff is very friendly, the food is diner food at its best and the kids loved looking at the old magazine ads on the wall.

I like Stardust, but deal on your coupon was deceptive. I will likely not buy one again. With all the hidden nonsense, it ends up not really being a very good deal.

I feel that an 18% tip is a little high. The food was ok, and the service was pretty good, but for 2 people having to pay $43 was a little much.

Food was cold! The baked potato was a reheated leftover that tasted leftover and was not even warm. The coffee was lukewarm.

The only minor thing that bothered me (which this will sound silly)was that I felt rushed from the time I sat down to the time I left. We got served so fast we left feeling rushed. Our salads showed up and within a minute or two our appetizers were there. I wasn't finished with my salad when the main course arrived. Its like the employees are on crack(wound too tight)and need to rush you out of the restaurant.Food was awesome just wish I could have enjoyed it more!
The server was very gracious even though we came in at the end of the evening and shut the place down. Even our kids commented on how thoughtful he was.

We were dining with children. The person who seated us made sure we had enough room and appropriate seats for the toddlers. We were served promptly with a smile. The 8 year old loved the coloring sheet. The pancakes were excellent and the kids liked their breakfasts as did the adults.

I have been dining at Stardust since it first opened many years ago. It has had some down times in the past, and has changed hands a time or two, but always is one of my favorites. The current owners and staff seem to be doing a great job. Friends have told me they love it, after having had complaints in the past. I have always been loyal, but I know not everyone tolerated the rougher times. Anyway, it seems to be going GREAT for quite awhile now and the wait staff has been exceptional the times I have been there. I really praise them a LOT!! And the food quality is overall very tasty. In fact, the pumpkin pie we had Monday night was outstanding! Thanks for making our dinner such a pleasant experience. I will see you soon!
