Was looking forward to a better menu "Oysters Rockefeller" but due to the pandemic I guess it was not available. Not a lot to chose from like we had in the past and that is why we come back.

Worst server and manager. Waited 50 mins after order for a well done burger that was served very red.

A lovely restaurant space in a shopping center. The food was good and plentiful. The cost was reasonably good. The service was excellent. everyone made you feel special. Even the water boy wouldn't let my iced tea glass get empty.
very hot outside on the patio, we couldn't have one of the tables inside, they were for reservations and I had called an hour before we were going to arrive to find their hours and the employee did not ask if I would like to make a reservation so we wouldn't have to be outside in the horrible hear
The wait staff was friendly, pleasant, attentive. Did not hover, so I didn’t feel rushed. Was able to answer all our questions.
Too hot in restaurant. 20 min before reservation I was called to say they had no table inside and we had to eat outside. Upon arrival they gave us an inside table.

Excellent menu. Diverse and prepared and served very well. New time, will choose Yellow fin Tuna. Served Ahi style. Beautiful. My Duck was excellent as usual.
The food is very good by area standards which is a fast food haven. We have to journey far for excellant dining. Vogue is very nice and attractive for the area.

Food delicious although the scallop entree included only 3 scallops. Service wonderful.Tables for 2, too close together.
We went to their once a month Wine Dinners. Chef Juan was spot on, everything was wonderful. They have a new wine person and his choices weren't great.

Had not been here in years because of a very bad experience with food prep, serving a nice piece of fish and find it still frozen and waiting an hour for it is not acceptable, so did not go back for many years, however, decided to go and try since management and other changes were made. This is a big difference. Nice menu selections. More upgraded bar bistro dining.Good specials, nice outdoor patio seating,nice bar seating. Not a big place but comfortable. Nice décor. Welcoming. The yellow fin cooked perfectly, duck 2 ways , the leg and thigh were a bit dry but the breast cut was wonderful.Brussel sprouts so tasty.Were both great entres, well prepared, great sauce. The cold beet soup, a special, very tasty and refreshing. Staff vary pleasant and attentive.Laura our server knew the menu well,was there for us. Have to say, now we will go again and more often. Make a reservation it will get crowded.
This is the only Fine Dining location in Surprise. The food is excellent, service pleasing and efficient and the decor upscale.

Vogue was my (and friends) Favorite spot for Buffalo Burgers. Saw on the menu (on the internet) that it was back on the menu! So disappointed that the site was not updated. That was the best burger Ever!

It took almost an hour to get out food. The Potatoes were cold. The meatloaf is not what we are used to, meaning the sauce on top was not glazed.

We go because it is a laid back place to just take your time. Small, cute and so far we have like everything we have ordered except my husband didn't like the meatloaf. We probably wouldn't go without a coupon because of the cost though.

Have been wanting to try Vogue for over a year! Disappointed. Once seated, did not receive service or even wait staff acknowledgment timely and had to ask hostess for water. Escargot was tough with VERY little garlicy butter, but waaaay too much chopped parsley. Didn't finish. French onion soup not flavorful at all with little cheese or croutons in soup. Did not finish that either. Duck was ok and husband's lasagna was fine. Had to wait for bill after meal. Lovely decor- upscale without pretension. Like layout with bar on one side and dining on other. Sadly, will not be back.

The food quality has steadily decreased in the past year since the original owners sold the restaurant. Our New Years Eve meal was extremely expensive, yet the food we received was only worth about 1/3 of the price. Very disappointing.

The service was outstanding despite it being a busy Saturday night in December. I don't think my glass was ever half empty. The Frito Misto was HUGE. We brought home over half. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly, but the mushrooms tasted off, like plastic, according to him. The Vogue fries were super salty, yet I couldn't stop eating them.

The food quality was very good, but my wife asked for her burger "medium" (pink) and it came from the kitchen medium-well (brown all the way through). It was very disappointing. (A modest price adjustment was made.) Also disappointing, as always at Vogue, was how very long it took for the chef to cook our food. There were not many customers, and our order was not elaborate, but it seemed to take forever to get our meals to our table.
We had a hard time getting water refills, but other than that, it was great.

Very slow service, one meal came with wrong side - not as ordered - onion soup weird with no cheese - calamari very strange and not good - 2 of us ordered Black Cod - waitress came back say there was only 1. Don't do that to two people at same table - just tell us there none.
3rd time at Vogue Bistro and again the food was excellent. Everyone in my party raved about their food, especially the sauces! There was something to please everyone and the creme brûlée did not disappoint! It was delicious!
You can delicious entrees here that no one else serves, like the Eggplant Parmigiana that was in a fluffy puff pastry or the incredible carmelized butternut squash. YUM!

The service tonight was slow. We were seated at the outdoor dining area. Upon arrival in the there were not too many inside the restaurant. As we waited for our entrees, more people were inside and seemed to have been served earlier than we were.

Our waiter, Shawn, started out pretty good, until we ordered our food. He did offer us bread, but we never saw him after that. We waited quite a long time to get our food and then it was luke warm and my husbands steak was so tough that he could barely eat it. There was no salt or pepper on the table and I would have like some pepper. We had to ask another waiter ask him to get us our check as we were running late for another engagement. I also might mention that we arrived at 5:10 before it was busy.

Chef Aurora has designed a wonderful menu and we always enjoy it. However, the baby carrots on the veal plate were hard as rocks. They appeared to be sauteed nicely, but they could not be eaten.

We enjoyed the cheese starter, French onion soup, roasted chicken, eggplant parmesan, chocolate collection, and the cake - every single bite of food was completely amazing. I truly haven't tasted food like this since I was in Europe.

Both my husband & I had the seafood combination entree, crab stuffed mushrooms for appetizer w/ Valentino martini for me and champagne for my husband, finished the meal w/ pistachio gelato. Ordered the Restaurant's Signature Steak, the Steak Vogue. Server said the hangar steak might taste a bit gamey. Came back after ordering same and said tonight the steak was a flat iron steak instead. The steak for a signature steak was tasteless. If not for the wine reduction sauce, it would have been like eating thick paper. My wife had the 6 oz. filet. She liked it and the Au Gratin potatoes. I thought $26 for a 6 oz filet was a bit pricey.

I love coming to this place, but last night just seemed not to be fully on their game. I asked for bread 2 times and was told no problem and never received the bread. Seemed silly to ask again once we already received our entrees.
The food is unique and not to everyone's tastes - they use a lot sauces much like French cooking.

This is our favorite restaurant. Chef Aurore always creates delicious and creative meals. She prepares one or two specials each evening which are always outstanding. The wait staff is well trained and very friendly. It is a must try in the West Valley.

Service was not as good as should be. Two ordered burgers. Ketchup could have easily been brought to the table before sandwiches served so sandwiches would not have to get cold waiting for condiments that took a long tome to come. Also large salad ordered and waiter knew we were splitting. Should have been brought to the table that way. Fries came way after main courses served. Disappointing service. Some of the food good. Salad, buffalo burger disappointing. Chicken good,burger good and eggplant seemed good but small.

We were talked out of the VOGUE steak by our waiter - we were told it tasted a lot like Venison and that a lot of people don't like it. The salad was OK, but not for the price and the entree was only mediocre. Service was minimal. Probably won't return!! There are many better places for the price. The burgers they were serving at other tables looked good, but we expected more from what we ordered, from what we considered an upscale restuarant.
Our waitress Jennifer is always so very nice. The food was excellent and the chef prepared for me a bone-in rib eye even though it was not on the dinner specials that night.

My husband and I ate lunch here after I had a great experience with a group of ladies months before. Unfortunately, the service and food fell flat on our most recent visit. The service was very slow - one waitress, one host/bus boy and one cook (it wasn't Chef Aurore). More disappointing than the slow service was the food lacking in flavor. My husband's burger had no flavor and was overcooked, my chicken panini was good, but again the chicken had zero flavor and was a bit tough, and the potato au gratin tasted more like a plain baked potato. The side dish was a stack of sliced potatoes with no seasoning and very little cheese in between the slices...and very overcooked. I am glad we had our restaurant.com coupon, otherwise I would have been more disappointed paying full price.

We were seated in the patio area which had the curtains dropped because of the weather. This gave the room a very bleak apearance. The tables were sparsely set which added to the bleakness.There was nothing to add to the atmosphere even though the fireplace was lit.The staff tried to be friendly but it was just a lousy atmosphere to go out to dinner.The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the Vogue steak which was their signature dish. The sauce was flavorful but the steak was tough. And the mound of french fries were cold. My wife had the salmon and it was good. We also had to ask the bus boy to get a refill of the $3.00 diet Pepsi.

Our waiter was excellent and we enjoyed the meal. I have wanted to get a Panini for a long time and we usually eat after 4:00PM
The vogue is somewhat overpriced for the quality of the food.....we would eat there more if it were a better value
My husband would go back. I will not. I had to send the chicken back because it was dry. I ordered the steak which was what my husband had ordered. One of the pieces was tough. The other piece was okay. There was also a problem with the check.

This place is over rated for food, and the service was not very good. We ordered an appetizer and the server brought two plates for us to share. We were finished with the appetizer when the main course arrived. The server never removed the dirty appetizer plates from our table during our dinner. One additional comment, they open for dinner at 4pm but the chef does not arrive until 5:30p. Therefore any chef specials for the early dinner customers is not available. I will not return as there are better restaurants with better service.

We used to eat out more often and ate at Vogue more often when you had the Panini's after 4:00PM. I really liked them. I find your wines a little over priced. We always enjoy eating at Vogue.
The BEST FOOD in the Phx Valley. Presentation was great, the chef is just one of the best. Thankfully this resaurant is on the west side.

It was my birthday and I love the eggplant parm. It was over cooked so the wonderful crust was blackened and tasted like burnt cheese.
your food is excellent. you pour a good drink...and that is results in my husband frequenting a restaurant. and kudos to christine...so attentive and has an excellent memory of her clientele.
I SELECTED "GOOD" UNDER "QUALITY OF THE FOOD" ABOVE, BECAUSE I RECEIVED A MEDIUM-WELL DONE STEAK, BUT ORDERED A MEDIUM. ALSO, MY WIFE AND I REQUESTED THE SAUCE BE ON THE SIDE, AND IT WAS ALL OVER THE STEAK.

The Dover Sole was excellent in flavor,with the linguini, but the Salmon was boring, no flavor, we marinate ours in sesame oil, lemon juice and a little soy to give it flavor, so it was a little disappointing.
Service was really slow, waited over an hour for food that was cold. Server was nice, gave us a free desert. Thank goodness we had a coupon or I would have been upset.
Dinner was very good. We didn't like appetizer....server didn't comp or offer alternative appetizer, she said,"some people love it, some hate it," and walked away.
Service was good, fountain drinks in my opinion should keep coming until guest no longer wants anymore. I had to ask for refill on soda. Otherwise,good service.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday. Our server was excellent, she surprised my wife w/ a delicious strawberry creme brulee along w/ some chocolate bites. Yum, yum!
This is the best up scale restaurant on the West Side of the Phoenix Valley. Wish there were more like this.

Burger ordered medium-rare was medium. Dipping sauce for sweet potato fries was runny - could have been thicker.
They were out of the duck entree, which was what 3 of our party wanted. That was a disappointment!

In addition to wonderful food and drinks, we had a medical emergency and staff at Vogue were very helpful.

French fries seasoned well,firm and crunchy,salad dressing delicious,sogue steak tender for type of steak and had an excellent peppercorn wine sauce.Salmon was good but not near as tasty as some frozen copper river salmon we cooked at home a couple days ago. Were out of spinach at 5:00. Would think someone would run to Bashas. A good real French bread would improve over the hot fresh rolls served.
We feel the prices are too high especially for alcohol.
Service was somewhat slow - even though the place was less than half full. (More water offered as we were paying the bill, even though we drank most of the water be half way through the meal. Waiter tried to take our dessert plate even though we were not finished.) Ten minutes to 'process' our credit card.

One of my pet peeves is when there are just two people and when they deliver your items they ask :"Who got the.....??I knock 5% off the tip if they don't have a good system to know who ordered what. I have seen restaurants deliver items correctly fro several courses to tables of ten to twenty but this one doesn't do it for two. Waitresses are very cordial and friendly and all personnel are polite. The food is what we go for and Vogue really has high quality.

The lasagna dish looked,and had the consistancy of soup, the spinach added nothing to the dish. The menu is extremely limited.
Vogue Bistro has to be the most under rated restaurant in the Valley. It is Suprise's best kept secret!
quality of food is between good and excellent. I come to Vogues bistro more than 2-3 times a year but not once a month. My salmon which is usually cooked to perfection was not cooked in the center. I would like to se more cooked vegetables that are not in the Broccoli, asparagus, spinach, brussel sprouts, kale families. People on blood thinners should not eat these vegetables. My daughter-in-law was not pleased with the new filet mignon. She usually has her filets at Flemmings. My son, as always loved his Vogue Bistro burger and my five year old grandson loved his meatloaf which he has praised to friends in the past. One of whom came in and tried it and concurred with his opinion.

We only go out to nice restaurants one to three times a year. We really enjoyed our special date.

Live in Marley Park
We try to make it to Vogue at least once a month. The wine, food and ambiance are great. The certificate helps with some of the cost. We would probably visit less.
Wonderful restaurant and the food is excellent. We eat lunch here all the time. All the servers are friendly and remember us each time we eat there. Great atmosphere. I feel as if I were in Paris!
