No smiles on faces of servers. Our waitress had on a dirty apron
I enjoy the ambiance of this restaurant. You can eat outdoors with a view of the stream or inside with huge glass wall with the same gorgeous view. tablecloth and cloth napkins not a pub. Variety of menu items. Our server was very nice and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Appetizer and drinks were good. Main course was old and reheated
The cucumber, tomato (grown on site!) and feta salad was amazing! We also had the veggie pita melt which was delicious.
Did not enjoy the mushroom tacos. Will not get again.

Food is consistently good. Wide variety, always a nice special lunch. Service is always great as well. Salads, soup, sandwiches and main meals are all done very well. Full bar. Lovely cocktails.

Food was great but they were setting up for a party next to where they seated us and got a little loud
The stuffed mushrooms were very good as was the mango ice tea. The rest of my meal was disappointing. We ordered chicken and waffle. The dish included a soft waffle and shredded chicken in a broth poured over the waffle. The dessert was no more impressing.

Even more than the food, we like the atmosphere at Willowtree. It's relaxing, quiet and sometimes what you need at the end of a long day or week. The food is consistently good and sometimes wonderful. It won't be the best dining experience of your life but it will be a good meal in a nice place for a good price.

This place is one of the nicest places we know of in the Poconos. It has a 3-tiered deck overlooking the McMichaels creek, & we always dine by the rail, closest to the water. Today we saw a 'mommy' dock with 4-5 ducklings in close pursuit.The food was excellent, as was the service & drinks.For some reason, this place never gets crowded (but it should be). I'll just call it one of our 'best kept secrets' - a wonderful experience.

We were seated at the window looking out to the willow tree that hangs over the crystal clear water of McMichael's creek. The food was excellent as was the service. We only found this gem through Restaurant.com on our firdt tine in Stroudsburg .

Chicken fettucine Alfredo with mushrooms and spinach was excellent. Portions size was perfect. My son loved his large burger served on a Portuguese roll. The restaurant decor is warm and inviting, beautiful view of the creek.The service was impeccable, very attentive. The only complaint I have is the smell of cigarette smoke is very strong as you walk from the front door through the bar area to the dining room. No one was actively smoking just a lingering smell. The dining room had no residual smell.
Sole Franchise was overcooked but the rest of the meal was fine. I seldom eat there without a coupon.

the waiter was very gentle and provide all the help that we needed. the food was pretty good. We also enjoyed being outside next to the river and to the willow tree.
My husband and I frequent Willowtree at least once per month. Whenever we have guests in the area we makeup it a point to treat them to the experience as well. Everyone is always impressed with the culinary expertise and the cozy atmosphere. Definitely the best dining experience for us in the Stroudsburg area

excellent menu everything at our table was great!!
Our meals were not served exactly as listed on the menu. One of us ordered lasagne which was served with mashed potatoes - not a good combination. The other meal was to be served with a salad that never showed up so the salad with the lasagne was divided among us.
Customers who sit outside should be advised of the bugs after sun down. The bugs were in the coffee!
Service was too slow. Server interacted well, nice person, but too much time waiting between courses.
We had to choose "first time" because none of the other choices fit. (We've been to the Willow Tree Inn about 4 times.) We rated our experience "good" because we felt the background music was a bit awkward for a nice restaurant, but our meal was superb and our waiter (Brigham) was excellent! He patiently answered our questions and provided attentive service. We'd read some negative reviews about the restaurant online and are glad we didn't listen to them!

The only reason it was not excellent for the quality of the food was the rolls were poor. They are always stale. A nice fresh bread would boost the appeal of the dinner.
We have dined at the Willow Tree frequently for group functions and with our family. Food, service and atmosphere is always good. Maybe the only critique would be to either serve fresh artisan breads or just switch over to fancy crackers. The bread was stale.
We always enjoy coming to the Willow Tree and enjoying the excellent food.My partner just didn't enjoy the sauce on his blackened tuna.Everything else,especially the service from Megan,was wonderful!

We had a very nice meal. The air conditioning was set at a very chilly temperature. ( it was in the lower 60's outside, so not a hot day); otherwise great meal.

Beautiful setting and initial contact with staff very favorable. Mine and my wife's entres, chicken dishes, were bad. Food was overcooked or microwaved too long and was rubbery and not chewable. Mine was returned. The server brought more bread on request but was not that attentive until asked. The restaurant had great potential but we were sad that it failed as far as the entrees went.
We have been to the Willowtree 4 or 5 times before and always had a good experience there. We were looking for someplace to celebrate aour anniversary and chose the Willowtree from restaurant com. We would not have chosen the Willowtree had it not been offered on the website.

Our experience at The willowtree Inn was very good. The food was yummy and my husband and I finished our plates. We will definitely return as we live right over the bridge in Jersey.
