My Dinner was prepared incorrectly which resulted in me getting my dinner after most of the people in our party were already done.
Food was delicious, chef was awesome and our service was great!
Excellent service. Maybe a bit more seasoning in the fried rice. More caramelization with the chicken. Horseradish sauce was good but maybe introduce a horseradish mustard or ginger sauce.

As always the service and food were excellent. Our chef did an outstanding job of preparing our food on the Hibachi grill.
Great food, large portions, great service, friendly staff...
The food is so good! We always have enough leftovers for another whole meal the next day. Upgrading to fried rice is a must! If you like garlic, order a garlic patty (two of us split one) and top off your fried rice with it, absolutely heavenly!
We do' however, miss the sushi train on Friday night. Yes I know we can still get the same great sushi ordering by both we and our family miss the little plates coming by on the belt. Gives you the opportunity to try something you might not order.

Our chef iover cooked our steak and chicken. I also felt his cooking hygiene was poor. He went from raw chicken to veggies and steak without cleaning his cooking tools. I been going tthere for years and I have never seen that before. Not sure I will be back soon

Yue Sun is a great teppan restaurant, with prices far more reasonable that Benihana. The waitresses are exceptionally accomodating, and the teppan chefs are awesome, for both presentation and preparartion. Meat/fish and other ingredients are fresh and high quality with outstanding seasonings. The "golden egg" topping is our of this world! A variety of combinations are offered, as well as specials. I tried the lamb rib chops and shrimp special, which included 4 lamb chops and a nice portion of shrimp, golden style. I have never had teppan cooked lamb previously, and it was one of my favorite lamb preparations ever! Portions are large. They also have a sushi train section opposite the teppans, and sushi can also be ordered while seated at the teppans.

Unfortunately I would have to rate this restaurant at the bottom of the list of all Japanese steak houses I've been to. In addition to the food not being great, it was more expensive than most Japanese steak houses whose food is much better in my opinion.

A meal at Yue-Sun is an entertaining experience. The food is prepared in front of the diners, with showmanship and skill. The result is a pleasant evening out.
As always the food and service was excellent.
2 people ordered steak dinners, which were very good (although the portions were steak were small.) The 2 people that ordered the all you can eat sushi had TERRIBLE service. Small amounts of sushi came out, and then there were long periods of waiting for more sushi while the steak eaters finished their meals. Long wait to have our water glasses refilled, even after asking for more!

Slow to get seated and slow to deliver drink orders and take food orders. The place appeared to be short staffed for a Saturday night. However, once we got rolling food was very good.
Yue Sun always has great food including their sushi and sashimi. It is locally owned and the owners take a great deal of pride in their restaurant and care about their customers. They have THE BEST golden shrimp!

We used to come here often. Moved away and stopped. Last night was a little disappointing. The food wasn't nearly as good or fresh as it used to be.
It is not only the great service, but the show while cooking that is fun for all.

Asked for steamed rice to come with dinner and they brought it as they were just beginning to cook our mea. The rice was cold by the time the meal was prepared tableside.

The food and service are great! However the portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. This is why I gave them 4 stars. Our favorite is the Golden Shrimp and the Spicy Garlic Shrimp. And the cook is always entertaining. Love the place!!

The staff was great, from boxing our leftovers to visiting with us after our meal. We felt very welcome and will go back. Food was well prepared and it was a nice intimate setting, not as impersonal as larger Japanese Steak Houses.

The restaurant was not clean and old – just not what we expected. The service and food were good but the quality of the restraint itself was not.

This is the best of the best when it comes to Japanese Steak Houses.
They have become too expensive to visit. Even with a $25 certificate, the cost to me, tip included, was close to $100. This is too much and will visit other Japanese Steakhouses.
We are from out of town but would be regulars if local.
this time the food quality was down from what it has been in the past. The soup was so salty no one at the table finished it. The salad was too dry and the fried rice didn't have enough taste..all different from the past.
A little pricey - especially for children.
Making the sauces available for purchase is amazing! Now we get to enjoy our favorites all the time! Spicy Garlic sauce and the Ginger Dressing are so wonderful!

I have been a customer of Yue Sun for a number of years and it continues to be a favorite of all the members in my family!! Everyone we bring who has never been becomes a regular customer as well. We only eat out about 6 times a year. That option is not on your survey.

Everything is always excellent. We have never had a bad experience.
Scallops were frozen and really unedible. Our bill was $70 with tip with the coupon which is very pricey without alcoholic beverages.
We were served our appetizers with our dinner. Defeats the purpose of appetizer. Many times the shrimp (garlic and golden) taste undercooked too.
They have the best garlic shrimp!

We love eating here; the food is great and the staff is very friendly. We were surprised that it took so long for our meal to start though. It took 60 minutes from our reservation time (we came on time) until the first course-the salads, began. The chef seemed to rush through his performance a bit in order to get to the other tables that were also waiting. If they had 1 more chef, it would not have been an issue.

Great food at a good price
Yue Sun is a tradition for my high school friends and me. Anytime we find ourselves returning to the area at the same time, we try to make it over to Yue Sun. Being on restaurant.com made Yue Sun even better!!
The only suggestion is for the cook to slow down a little, he seemed rushed not sure why. The restaurant was not horribly busy. Some of our vegetables were not cooked thouroughly. other than that the food and service was great!

Yue-Sun I by far the best there is! I have been to many others and there is no better. I only go to Yue-Sun for Japanese food. Friends of mine have also given up on there favorite place after eating at Yue-Sun. Thanks for a great place to eat.

took over 30 minutes after dessert to get the bill a little crazy with tip included they really didn't seem to want to move the tables out and wanted you to buy more drinks.
We waited an hour after we were seated, no one came to our table, I called the front desk on my cell phone to have someone help us. I called prior to coming to see if we needed a reservation, they said no!! The service was awful !! A wasted $250.00 which is what we spent !!!
Lots of food, but the quality has been better in other Japanese Restaurants.
The only reason we don't go to this place more often is because of our budget. On the hibachi side of the restaurant, the chefs are absolutely amazing! Better than any other hibachi grill around :) Fried rice and garlic shrimp are out of this world, the chefs are funny and friendly and the two owners are ALWAYS there and incredibly friendly and professional.
Although this resturant is great they have made significant portion cuts and the high prices remain.
