Priced to hi or i paid wrong bill 1 tea 1 coffee 1 side bacon and 1 order of country fried steak with the 5 bucks off was 21 bucks server was very busy had to ask for more drinks just was a bad day there.

food is always good, service has always been good.
One ham entree contained a large amount of fat and was replaced by staff. Second also was not acceptable but they readily remedied the problem by suggesting another entree replacement. The stuffed cabbage dinner was very good!
Good food and friendly, good service. The menu posted on restaurant.com was not the menu served at this restaurant. We were happy to see our favorites still on their menu. Disappointed to see yet another price increase however.

I also say5plus stars there but unfortunately we had a new waitress tonight that I don't think is going to make it. But the other girls made up for it there great.
waitress said that (per owner policy) I could not order a drink & change to a different one on my refill (even though price is same). Would have to charge for 2 drinks!!! Have never been anywhere that did this & I eat out everyday!!!!

We got the Ruebens sandwiches and deserts. They don't drain the Sauerkraut enough so it made a very soggy sandwich. Very little cheese also. I won't be ordering it again.

The Mason Jar is in my opinion the best restaurant in Florida. Southern cooking like Granny used to make. We go every Thursday night for the Fried Chicken special and they always remember us, our drinks and our order. It's like dining with family. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!
The prices have gone up on many favorites and are beginning to get out of line for certain foods. The veggies this visit were rather bland-- just opened a can. Service was good as always.

The prices are high for what you get. I ordered the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and the serving was huge but the beef had little flavor and the gravy tasted fake. The tea was good and the service was ok but I won't be going back.
The fried chicken was dry and the biscuits were hard. We eat here often and this was not the norm

We both got the Monday special of meatloaf and 3 sides. It was a very large portion of meat and very tasty. We got different sides--all very good. It came with a corn muffin, too.

Fried Chicken was dry. Pumpkin Swirl cheesecake was dry. Have had better meals at Mason Jar. Will give it another try.

Attentive and friendly wait staff. Casual atmosphere, very clean and tidy. Home-style cooking. Very generous portions and a great selection/variety: everything from lite-bite to sandwiches or full dinners and desserts. Hot items were hot, cold items were cold. Great prices, too. Free refills on iced tea and they offered drinks to go at no additional charge!
Food is homemade and good. Good portion sizes and waitresses are quick and friendly. Specials are also a treat with new things added from time to time.

Perch dinner was not very good. Pre-packaged frozen perch was not got...to much breaking and not enough fish.
Portion was small. Had chicken special(2pieces chicken and 3sides). Would have preferred 3 pieces and 1 side. Chicken dark meat was very dry. I should have sent it back. Told the waitress that the chicken was dry but I ate it.
The service is always quick, the food prepare perfect and deliver to the table in a timely manner. Great daily soups, they do tend to serve a chicken noodle type soup often, but when they make it, the cabbage soup, & cheeseburger soup & black bean and steak soup is out of this world. It makes a perfect lunch spot when you only have a hour or less break. My favorite is the sloppy Joes special on Fridays. Its a great place for a Sunday breakfast but if you see the line out the door, don't worry, it will move quicker then you would think, but if you want breakfast be sure you get your name on the list before 11, they do stop serving breakfast sharply at 11, but if you miss it, the all you can eat fried chicken on Sunday is the best around. Also, be sure you check the white board, most of the things they have on it are on the menu, but they usually have a couple of items not on the menu, like the Sloppy Joes, on Friday, or the turkey and dressing served sometimes on Sunday and they always have additional sides not on the menu. Overall, it’s a great place to get home style cooking at a reasonable price. Oh one last thing, if you are like me and are use to the Florida heat, take a sweater or jacket, they do tend to keep the AC on COLD or have one in the car just incase
